Welcome to my web page. For 25+ years, and almost 3,000 shows, my goal is to engage and entertain audiences, large and small, of all ages, with my acoustic guitar, voice and enthusiasm on stage.
While the primary genre of my music is cowboy/western songs, my shows often include a variety of folk, Americana, classic country, cover songs (see below), Irish and originals songs, including some sing-alongs, and humor. A few cowboy poems add a western perspective to an evening.
I spent 17 years as part of the duo Yampa Valley Boys. We recorded 8 CD’s. I have been solo since 2017. I have 3 solo CD recordings.
I have specialty shows of John Denver songs, Irish songs, Christmas songs, as well as a variety of cover songs from such artists as The Eagles, Bob Dylan, Jimmy Buffet and many others. I have performed throughout many of the western states, and once in Ireland. My 3 solo CD recordings are listed below in the Music/Discography section. “The Lump of Coal” was a top 20 western CD, for most 2021, per “The Western Way”.
Home base is still in the Yampa Valley, but I now spends about half of the year in Casa Grande, AZ. Whether I’m in the Colorado mountains, or the Arizona desert, my songs often have an Irish connection.
No audience too large or too small. It’s all about engaging and entertaining an audience and having fun. To paraphrase an old western TV slogan, “have fun, will travel”.
